Mike Visocky, Owner of Pura Vida Protection K9
I didn’t get into this business as an owner — I started as a customer. I bought one protection dog, then another, and I saw firsthand how life-changing a well-trained, reliable protection dog can be. The quality, the professionalism, and the consistency stood out so much that I didn’t just stay a client… I bought the company and brought it to Costa Rica.
I run Pura Vida Protection K9 with that same customer mindset. If a dog isn’t good enough for my own home, it’s not good enough for yours. I know what families expect, because I was in your shoes. And I know exactly what a true, elite protection dog should deliver.
This is personal for me. I’m here to bring Costa Rica the same level of American-trained protection dogs that earned my trust long before I ever owned the company.
